What KurTālāk is
KurTālāk.lv is a free tool that helps you choose where and what to study. It's made by the student training company (SMU) “KurTālāk” at Riga State Gymnasium No. 3 together with Junior Achievement Latvia. By using the website, you agree to these terms.
The information is a help, not a guarantee
We check study programme information on the universities' websites, but universities can change it. Chances of getting in are an estimate, not a promise that you'll be admitted. Always check the information on the university's official page before applying. You make your own study decisions, and we aren't responsible for the consequences if the information has changed or an estimate doesn't match the outcome.
Your account
You can create an account from the age of 13, and each account is for one person. Use a real email and keep your password safe – you're responsible for what happens in your account. You can delete your account at any time on the account page. We may block or delete an account that's used against these terms.
What's not allowed
Don't try to hack or overload the website, automatically download its content in bulk, send spam or offensive content through the forms (reviews, reports) or pretend to be someone else.
Content
KurTālāk's texts, tests, design and logo belong to KurTālāk. University names and the information they publish belong to those universities. You can use the content for personal purposes and share links to the website.
Paid features
Right now, everything on KurTālāk is free. If we add paid features in the future, we'll publish their price, contents and cancellation terms here before they can be bought. The features that are free now will stay free.
Privacy
How we use your data is described in the privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll announce important changes on the website (News), and to account holders by email too.
